A few words about
What We Do
Our organization is involved in numerous programmes targeted at women of reproductive age.
Education & Awareness
We organise and collaborate on events that build public understanding of women’s health issues and inform global health actors about urgent and emerging women’s health needs. We design guides and handbooks for school, day centres, and other social gatherings to equip women and girls with accurate health information to take charge of their health and wellbeing.
Health, care &Rehabilitation
QALY is a measure of the number of years of life lived in good health. As an organisation we offer free preventive interventions, screening, empowerment, and rehabilitation to women especially those among disproportionately affected populations to improve their health outcomes and increase the quality of their lives. Our services help prevent avoidable declines in health by enabling earlier access to care, informed decision-making, and timely referrals which are factors associated with improved long-term health outcomes.
Our Programmes:
ADOLESCENT SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND RIGHTS (ASRHR)
Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR) is a crucial field focusing on the health needs and human rights of young people (typically ages 10-19) during their transition to adulthood, encompassing access to comprehensive sexuality education, contraception, safe abortion, STI prevention (including HIV), and protection from violence, ensuring they can make informed decisions about their bodies and futures free from coercion, discrimination, and infection, leading to better overall well-being and societal development. Through our Consent Drive and Safe & Savvy Projects we promote SRH awareness by delivering comprehensive sexual health education, increase access to SRHR in the country and improve knowledge management and shared learning regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights at both individual and regional levels.
COMMUNITY ACCESS & CARE PROGRAMME
(DIRECT ACCESS AND OUTREACH)

SYSTEMS CHANGE, ADVOCACY & WORKFORCE PROGRAMME (SHAPING POLICY, PRACTICE AND REPRESENTATION)

Advocacy events engaging global health actors and policymakers. 2.Data collection and knowledge-sharing to inform inclusive health policies. 3.Scholarships for young women pursuing gynaecology, addressing women’s reluctance to seek care from male providers while strengthening the female health workforce. 4.Capacity-building and leadership development to empower women within health systems
